Many things have happened since we opened for business. In 2000, we moved into our newly constructed facility located at 405 South 12th Street. We proudly opened the doors of our second location, 700 North 12th Street, in 2002. We added The Murray Bank Online in 2004, bringing our customers the convenience of online banking 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff base has grown from nine employees to 53 employees, and the bank has grown to approximately $225 million in total assets. In 2010, Bauer Financial, Inc. announced that The Murray Bank had earned its highest 5-Star Superior rating for financial strength and stability for the 28th consecutive quarter. The 5-Star Superior rating is based on the overall financial picture of the bank and indicates that The Murray Bank is one of the strongest banks in the nation. Although many things have changed, there is one thing that has not; Customer Service. Our goal is to maintain a level of customer service that is second to none, where friends and neighbors are helping friends and neighbors, and where real problems get real solutions. Being an independent community bank allows us to make that happen by making our own decisions, having all of our operations onsite and keeping all documentation inside the bank.
